At Loraines Academy & Spa several forms of financial aid is available to those who qualify. It doesn't always require low income to qualify, as there are payment plans offered and there are often scholarship programs based on other criteria such as community service or attendance.

Federal Grants:Some money for school does not have to be repaid, if you qualify based on need and are taking one of the following Programs:
- Cosmetology
- Cosmetology with Nails
- Full Specialty
- Massage with Facial
- Cosmetology with Facial
- Clinical Skin Care
- Therapeutic Massage
- Instructor Training
Pell Grants
You may also qualify if you are only taking a portion of one of these Programs due to previous training and/or licensure. For example, an Esthetician may wish to take the advanced half of the Clinical Skin Care Program, a Massage Therapist may choose to add the Facial Specialist Program to become a Spa Specialist, or a Cosmetologist may decide to add Nail Tech training.

If you have physical, emotional or health issues which require training for a new career, you may qualify for assistance from the State of Florida's Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR)
If you have severe vision problems, you may qualify for assistance from Florida's Division of Blind Services (DBS)
If you qualify for education as a Veteran or their dependent, we are State approved for Veterans Training (VA Benefits)
All students can be approved for an in-school payment plan with low interest through TFC Credit Corporation
Coordinated Child Care of Pinellas provides services centered on preparing children for school and to remain successful in school.
If you qualify, there may also be assistance from the Florida Wages Program and the Florida Workforce Program.
